Trial Wear

Footwear is to be worn at home for a trial period to identify any discomfort or visible markings on the foot even if they have have been fitted. We do not exchange, refund or provide a credit note once the shoes have been worn outside, as they are then deemed as suitable.

Points to Remember

1. Keep your receipt – otherwise we can’t help after the purchase.
2. Look after your shoes – they will last longer and we cannot be held responsible for problems caused by misuse or lack of care.
3. When a fault is found then STOP wearing the shoes and contact us soon as possible, the longer you leave it the less we can do.

Faulty Goods

Please note that 99% of the time a manufacturing fault occurs within the first few weeks of normal wear. After this time, problems would be usually deemed as wear and tear. Scuffing, holes in the leather upper where there is no seam, loose decorative stitching or detached decorations are NOT classed as manufacturing faults. A repair may be offered.
Shoes should only be worn for the appropriate occasion and be fit for that purpose e.g school shoes are not football boots or brakes for bikes and with normal wear they will last a reasonable length of time (at least until they grow!).
Returns Policy

We are happy to refund unwanted or unsuitable merchandise, providing a valid receipt is show and the item is in its original packaging and condition with 28 days. Except sale good (these are non- refundable) Shoes that have been worn and are now unwanted will not be refunded.


Online Purchases

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online with Shoeting Stars. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.
By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
We are pleased to accept orders either as an online transaction via secure server. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.

Deliveries

We aim to dispatch your order within 1 working day, if ordered before 2pm. If we have sold out of a particular item, we will contact our suppliers. This may take up to 14 days, but we will notify you of any delays. Sometimes we are unable to supply a particular item, in this case we will contact you and offer a suitable alternative.
All deliveries will require a signature

Returns & Exchanges

We are sure you will be delighted with your order, but we understand you may wish to return items. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return unworn and in its original condition within 14 days of purchase in its original box or packaging (with any free gift linked to the product returned unopened enclosed). We will then refund the purchase price in full (excluding postage).

Please make sure you enclose your original receipt and ensure your return is securely wrapped with your name and address clearly visible on the return. Please obtain proof of postage and we recommend insurance as we cannot be held responsible for the goods whilst they are in transit.

Please be aware that refunds may take up to 28 days to show on your account.
If you would like an exchange, please give us full details of your requirements so we can help you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please note that if there is a price difference you will need to make a separate purchase.

Defective Goods

Defective goods should be returned within seven working days. Before returning please contact us by email info@shoetingstars.co.uk informing us of the defect (we may ask for photographs). If a warranted manufactured defect exists, Shoeting Stars will replace or exchange faulty footwear and refund you any postage charges incurred returning the goods to us. Any footwear determined not to have a manufacturers fault will be returned to the customer promptly. Neither the manufacturers or Shoeting Stars will give refunds for cosmetic imperfections to stitching/materials once the shoe has been worn.


Products, Prices & Content

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product due to technical limitations, some colours may vary. All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT where it is applicable, at the current rate unless clearly stated.
Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions.

Any information displayed on our web site or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly.
We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Ownership of goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Shoeting Stars until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.
